Unfortunately, this didn&#8217;t happen.  The day out was taken up with a riot on the outbound Lufthansa flight.  The return was initially extended to allow for a repeat workshop for the local Government, which then didn&#8217;t happen and my flight was brought forward by three days!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I did get to ride through the slum areas in the daylight; albeit it in torrential rain.  It wasn&#8217;t the kind of place that you would probably want to venture by night, but I think I would have been a little more comfortable by day. While my anxiety levels were not particularly high, they weren&#8217;t helped knowing that I was carrying a fair bit of cash as the organisers paid my fee in used \u00a320 notes!
