Many, misguidedly, interpret this as trying to capture a remarkable moment. This stems from a misinterpretation of Henri Cartier Bresson.  However, there are plenty of others who use street images as the medium for their own creativity.  Here is one&#8230;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I realise that this will be anathema to some people here, but if you have a darkroomrumour subscription, do take a look at this video about Thomas Devaux from 2015. He begins with street photos &#8211; his &#8216;project&#8217; in this case was based on people going through the check-out of a supermarket that came straight out onto the &#8216;street&#8217;. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It&#8217;s why he is attracted to the particular person, and what he does with the images, that I think opens up whole avenues of possibility to street photographers.
